Eydan enjoys his daily school meal in #Ecuador.

In 2023, the worldfoodprogramme relaunched its school meal programme in the country aiming to improve the nutrition of children like Eydan, including those living in rural areas.

Through the programme, children also participate in informative and engaging workshops where they learn about nutrition and plant growth.

Every day, millions of children go to school on an empty stomach, which impacts their ability to concentrate and learn. WFP works around the world to keep students fed so they can grow and focus on their studies.
