The historical drama series 'Shōgun' is no stranger to making history 📖 The series, which has already been picked up for a second season, broke Emmys records with a total of 18 wins from 25 nominations. Along with securing the coveted 'Outstanding Drama Series' award, both lead actors Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai took home their first Emmy; Sanada being the first Japanese actor to win in the category and Sawai being the first actor of Asian descent to win in the category.
