We will use any excuse to throw an impromptu dance party, but we actually had great reason today!

A bit overdue on our “formal” welcome but quite simply it seems like we can hardly remember the Tribe before Zeta since her acclimation has gone so incredibly well!

Ms Zeta’s Kromah joins the Tribe all the way from Liberia via the  @leadmfa, an organization established in Monrovia with the intent of leveraging soccer and academics to develop and empower young student athletes. ✨ 

And, if that story isn’t already cool enough, would you believe that the organizations founder @whsmith14 is a W&M Men’s Soccer Alum! 👊🏻

Already, in Zeta’s short 6 weeks with us, she’s made a remarkable impact. We were all immediately drawn to her aura and positive life force. Imagine coming from half way across the globe and being thrown into the academic and athletic rigors of a D1 program. Every single detail of our complicated lives that we are long accustomed to is new to her. Yet, she’s crushing all of it—socially, athletically and academically, all the while with gratitude and a huge smile. 😊 

She is destined for big things in Life and we are so lucky to be a part of her story!
