The 2024 report will be discussed and voted on Sept. 19 at this week’s UC Board of Regents meetings in Los Angeles.

A “bomb robot” — a long range acoustic device for crowd management — is among UC Berkeley’s collection. Campus is also requesting numerous new devices, including a second “hazardous devices” robot to update its current technology and a “Kinetic Breaching Tool” to open barricaded rooms.
