Chileeeee #Quavo is being accused of taking the concept for his 2018 track “Bubble Gum” from a Louisiana rapper, who claims he personally gave Quavo the inspiration. According to a new lawsuit and legal documents obtained by @tmz_tv A rapper named Lamount London, known as L.Mont, alleges that he opened for #2Chainz and #Migos at New Orleans’ Saenger Theatre back on February 9, 2016.

After the show, #LMont says he handed Quavo a CD featuring his song titled “Bubble Gum,” a lively track with a New Orleans vibe, which he had recorded in 2015, hoping for a future collaboration.

L.Mont claims he never heard back from Quavo, but later recognized his own track when Quavo dropped his debut album #QuavoHuncho particularly track #18, “Bubble Gum.” L.Mont alleges that Quavo’s song mirrors his original in lyrics, arrangement, and melody – essentially everything but the name.
