Dear KAmmunity ♥️✨🎇,

Bridge is excited to announce that we will be reviving our annual weekend-long empowerment retreat! We will be going to the Marin Headlands and San Francisco from Friday, November 10th starting at 9:30am to Sunday, November 12th ending at 4pm. Join the Pilipinx community in a retreat rooted in identity development and radical love. 🫂🤍🪐

Spots are LIMITED so fill out our application form to be a mentor, volunteer, or general attendee by October 14th at 11:59pm.

The 2023 Bridge Retreat intentions are to cultivate exploration of identity, building community unity and empowerment, and share space to demonstrate radical love. 💟💓💞

STAY TUNED FOR OUR THEME REVEAL! ♥️✨💓🎇💫

🧚‍♀️ ABOUT BRIDGE Retreat:
This weekend, students will be exposed to a series of workshops catering support, wellness, and community development. This year’s theme is centered around the unspoken struggles we as Pilipinx face through historical barriers and/or generational pressures of being a “true” Pilipinx. We intend to demonstrate the radical love of our community as we all navigate our identities, shared love, and shared struggles as Pilipinx young adults. The intent of the retreat is to empower attendees to recognize there isn’t one singular identity to being ‘Pilipinx’, and that we are the creators of our own stories.

🌳 What will be provided:
This year’s BRIDGE retreat is an all-expense paid (including transportation, food, and accommodations), three-day, two-night weekend conference. This will be put on by BRIDGE Pilipinx Outreach & Retention of the Student Recruitment and Retention Center (SRRC) at UC Davis for students who identify as Pilipinx.
