And now, one day before they take on their rivals for the first time this season, here are your CHS Volleyball Crusaders, from hometowns across Western New York ...

Coach Angelo Calabrese ’00 and the Crusaders play at St. Joe’s at 6 p.m. Wednesday, the first of three meetings between the schools this season, two of which will be played in Kenmore. CHS hosts perennially strong Section VI program Eden tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Bernard J. Kennedy ’49 Field House.
 
Canisius has had an impressive start of its always-competitive schedule; the Crusaders have swept Orchard Park, St. Francis and Cardinal O’Hara while it has had good performances against top competition at the Clarence and Eden tournaments along with five-set thriller losses to powers Clarence and East Aurora.
