This is my Chom (grandfather) in the middle. This picture was taken on his last year in residential school before he was allowed to play junior hockey. My heart goes out to him and all residential school survivors as without their resilience and determination we would not be able to enjoy our language and traditions as we do today. Always be proud of where your from ✊🏾
