5 things I love doing as a EDM DJ/Artist

1. Getting inspired ✨
I put this one first because I feel a lot of us get caught up in working 24/7, that we forget to put ourselves back in the very place that showed us what we wanted to do. While work should come first, I always find time and ways to go to performances, concerts and raves of many different artists - especially those who have a big inspiration on my sound.

2. Supporting other DJs/Artists 🫶🏽
“Your network is your net worth.” And there’s no better way to build a strong network than showing support to other DJs and artists in your scene. Shoutout dragdj in this clip!

3. Playing shows 🥳
The more shows you play, the more people see you doing your thing, the more likely you are to growing your fanbase. And of course, you’re having a good time!

4. Working on music 🎶
This is probably the most time consuming and difficult to do, but this is what separates serious artists from hobby musicians. Your music - even if it isn’t your money maker at the moment - is essentially, YOU! Working on, finishing, and releasing your music is huge to growing your fanbase and getting more artists to collaborate with you. And, being able to play your own music in your sets feels so good! 

5. Taking self-care time 🧘🏽‍♂️
After all, we are still people. Don’t be afraid to disconnect, take a break and just chill.
