#LifeAfterMoody: This #MoodyGrad received his utexasrtf degree in 2022! Meet social media influencer and content creator Brandon Cohen from Old Tappan, NJ! Since graduating and moving to Los Angeles, Brandon has collaborated with some of his favorite brands, such as Reebok, CeraVe, and Ralph Lauren.

Brandon came to #TEXASMoody because he wanted to be a movie director, but now he's in front of the camera. He finds his utexasrtf degree beneficial because it allows him to control all aspects of his content, direct his friends, write scripts for clients, and edit the videos himself. He mentioned, "The skills I learned at Moody definitely helped set me up for success!"

The path to being an influencer was not easy. When Brandon first moved to Los Angeles, he worked full-time and edited social media videos. During a vacation to Italy, he realized he wanted to make his own content. Some of the content he created there went viral, and he took Professor Stone's advice to capitalize on the momentum. He then quit his job, signed with a talent agency, and the rest is history. He often partners with another #TEXASMoody grad, Bryan Baker, and together, they've grown a substantial following on TikTok and Instagram.

His favorite class was Sascha Stone Guttfreund's Intro to Music Business, where he learned insights about building his brand and connecting with leaders in the industry. He credits Stone for believing in him from the start and being supportive.

Brandon said there is so much content out there that divides people or makes a joke at someone else's expense, but he wants to bring people together and put a smile on their faces. "I think in many ways, I always felt that being an on-screen personality from a young age would be fun."

"My advice to those who want to go into influencer life is do it! Create some fun stuff and put your spin on it. And keep in mind that no one will see when you fail, they'll see when you go viral. So make mistakes. Learn from them! One follower gained is still a positive gain, so just keep persisting and making things you're proud of. Flourish and prosper."
