It feels like you can’t go 50 metres in Surry Hills without running across a pub. I can’t explain then just how surreal it is seeing The Carro, along with every other pub in Sydney with their doors shut for so long. Needless to say, I hope everyone is staying safe and managing okay during this extended lockdown.
