On top of the massive loss of life and destruction of families and livelihoods, it will cost USD 1.8 BILLION to repair the damage caused.⁣

This is just one of many extreme storms experienced globally in the past year 🤯 yet, fossil fuel companies who are driving the #climatecrisis do not pay a cent for the loss and damaged they’ve caused.⁣
