#MaryJBlige and #Lifetime are teaming up once again to adapt another one of her classic songs into a film. Previously they released “Real Love,” and “Strength of a Woman,” which were inspired by her songs of the same title. Now, she’ll be executive producing a film inspired by her 2001 hit single “Family Affair.”

According to variety, #AjionaAlexus and #DaVinchi, who portrayed the roles of Kendra and Ben in the first two films, will return to reprise their roles in the upcoming project, scheduled to release in 2025.

In the synopsis, it states that “Family Affair,” which is a working title, will follow Ben and Kendra as they “move out of the city in hopes of finally building a life together. With all their family around and inserted in their lives, tensions rise as they struggle with fertility issues, and Kendra tries to find her footing with Ben’s son, Miles. Their relationship reaches a boiling point when Ben secretly helps his brother, and Kendra returns to the city and an old friend comes back into her life.
