Official details- 

The new Meridian Library at Pinnacle, located in South Meridian at 1375 E Phenomenal (near Lake Hazel & Locust Grove), will officially open on Monday, September 30th. This is one of four capital projects supported in part by a levy overwhelmingly approved by the community in 2019. Other projects include the unBound Technology Library (opened in April 2021), the Meridian Library at Orchard Park (opened in May 2023), and a major renovation of the Cherry Lane Branch, currently in the design phase.

The 12,000-square-foot Pinnacle branch offers a welcoming space with 24-hour access to pick up library holds, reservable areas for community gatherings, a robust children’s collection, a designated teen lounge, and an adult lounge featuring a cozy fireplace. This innovative new branch, dedicated to early literacy, is designed with accessibility and inclusivity in mind, featuring a wide array of amenities such as:

📚 Teen-friendly spaces with gaming equipment and comfortable booth seating, providing a safe and social environment.

📚 Children’s area with access to an outdoor patio, offering opportunities for gardening and outdoor STEAM learning.
A designated Adult Lounge with a fireplace and a rotating community art gallery.

📚Reservable study rooms and a program room, equipped with Vibe boards and AV amenities for various community activities.

This branch is more than just a library—it’s a welcoming home away from home, enriching the community with diverse opportunities for learning, leisure, and connection.
