On September 30, 2016, solangeknowles released her third album, ‘A Seat at the Table.’

Four years after her sophomore effort ‘True,’ Solange returned with were now-widely acclaimed album ‘A Seat at the Table.’ This album included a collaborative list of familiar names with features from liltunechi, sampha kelela, qtiptheabstract, thekingdream, and bjthechicagokid. As well as production from Raphael Saadiq, questlove, Kwes, and more. Recorded conversations from Master P and Solange’s own parents turned into interludes that helped weave the ongoing themes throughout from start to finish.

‘A Seat at the Table’ earned Solange her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, as well as a Grammy for Best R&B Performance for “Cranes in the Sky.”
