From the moment I first stepped into the Academy of FC Metz, to my debut in the Premier League with Newcastle United against Arsenal, and onto the pitch with Tottenham Hotspur—there’s one person who’s been a constant inspiration, guiding me along the way: Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor, the Maréchal himself.

Some people are with you for a reason, others for a season, but then there are those who are with you through every chapter of the journey. From our famous celebration that we created over 20 years ago to facing each other on the international stage—this brotherhood has stood the test of time.

In football, just like in life, you meet many people, but it’s the ones who push you, who inspire you to chase greatness, that truly leave their mark. Emmanuel, you’ve always been that big brother, that example of resilience and belief.
