IAGA Quick Hits - @GlobalGolfPost - Empowering the Women’s Golf Boom: State-Level Advocates Driving Lasting Growth

Global Golf Post Women recently published a story on grass-roots initiatives to grow the women's game.

Women's golf is experiencing a significant resurgence, with participation reaching levels not seen since before 2007. A key to sustaining this growth is state golf associations, which are creating dedicated roles, like directors of women's golf, to focus solely on women's tournaments and programs.

These roles, filled by passionate advocates like Sidney Overman (Chicago District GA - @cdgagolf ), Ryanne Haddow (Florida State GA - @fsga1913 ), and Holly Noble (Minnesota GA - @mngolfassn ), aim to keep women engaged in the game by directly addressing their needs and preferences, ultimately fostering long-term growth in women's golf.
