The @azgolfassociation will welcome the outgoing @playmassgolf Assistant Executive Director, Catherine Carmignani, as their new Executive Director. Serving as a valuable team member of Mass Golf for over five years in the areas of marketing and communications, strategic initiatives, and operational leadership, Carmignani will head west and fill the Arizona role in mid-August.

Carmignani said, "It is truly an honor to have been selected for this prominent role with AZ GOLF. The Association is well-regarded amongst its peers across the country and, thanks to the hard work and dedication by the team there, is positioned for continued growth and future success. I look forward to building off this momentum with them and am thrilled to lead the organization through this exciting new chapter in golf."

The AZ GOLF Search Committee held interviews throughout the last several months following the departure of previous Executive Director, Joe Foley. Interim internal leadership was facilitated by Alex Tsakiris and Daniel Shoup.

“The Executive Committee and I thank both Alex Tsakiris and Daniel Shoup for their leadership throughout this period of transition. We look forward to the continued health of AZ GOLF and our ability to support golfers of all playing styles and skill types. Furthermore, we welcome the new perspective Catherine will bring to our association and look forward to further innovation of sport and value to the AZ GOLF membership”, says Tim Brown, President of the AZ GOLF Executive Committee.
