A pioneer of minimalism and often an unsung hero of hard-edged painting, Mexican-American artist Virginia Jaramillo’s curvilinear works stand out with vivid fields of hand-mixed color, sharply disrupted by precise lines. 

Our recent acquisition, ‘It Goes On,’ explores the Japanese concept of “Ma” (negative space), blending her fascination with line, color, and balance into a striking visual experience.
