Whether it's a pandemic, natural disaster or unexpected emergency, the #EKUFamily stands ready to help students during tumultuous times. It's been a year since last summer's floods changed the lives of so many in our region, including some of our #EKU students. Not only that, but the impacts of the '21 Western Kentucky tornadoes reached all the way across the state. Rebuilding is never easy, and is still ongoing, but thanks to the generosity of The Student Assistance Fund for Eastern (SAFE), we were able to be there for our impacted students. In the link in our bio, you can hear from Emily Stacy and Nathan Neal, two students who found support through SAFE, about the impact that these resources had on their lives. 🤍
