🚨INDUSTRY NEWS📰
The Texas Department of Insurance proposed a new rule allowing sellers to provide the T-47.1 Declaration, which doesn’t require notarization, in place of the T-47 Affidavit starting November 1, 2024. TREC is also considering amending the One to Four Family Residential Contract to include this option. A vote on the rule is expected at TREC’s November commission meeting.
