JOIN ME in celebrating and supporting #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth! Thanks to one of its core messages to do monthly self exams, I found it early and am a breast cancer triumpher!  And, ringing the bell is one of the best moments in my life-other than giving birth to my son! It declared I was through my treatments. I still cry thinking about this moment and what it meant to me. I will never be able to show my gratitude enough to the incredible team led by my hero Dr. Brian Czerniecki for being in remission. But I am sure gonna try! Starting with donating a portion of the proceeds from my new book The Accidental Sisterhood to Moffitt. You gave me a renewed lease on living and the diagnosis gave me the motivation I needed to fulfill a dream- writing my first women’s fiction book.  Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!  And please, dear sisters, do your monthly self-exams, get a yearly mammogram, and encourage others in your sisterhood to do the same.
