## Caption

On my last trip to the Southwest, we lucked out on some of the most elusive backcountry permits in the United States, scoring last-minute online lottery permits to Coyote Buttes North aka The Wave. 

This place certainly lives up to the hype, offering some of the most mind-bending landscapes and desert formations you will ever see. We spent hours just soaking in the amazing views and looking for different comps—this one was easily my favorite.
