Every City has its own relationship with the Game, A connection that is specific, instinctual, and charged by those who play and support it equally - both on and off of the field.

The allstate Next Wave Showcase gives our players an opportunity to be inducted into the blackstarsoccer_  Academy.

Our first stop: Detroit - meet dillonclark.10 . A Detroit area native who’s allowed the game of Soccer to change his life. Across 3 episodes we’ll get to know Dillon through the City and Community, The Player, and The Battle and the Scarf.

Ensuring the future of the game is in good hands starts with creating access to opportunity in the game, the core of the Black Star mission. During each Black Star Showcase, select athletes receive a scarf, and with it, further scouting opportunities with club, college, and national team coaches. With the help of Allstate, this moment represents the manifestation of the opportunity that we create together. Black Star Academy is about turning that moment into a long-term platform, not only for storytelling but a growing group of alumni, young athletes achieving their goals on and off the field.
