In this cut from The 105 Podcast, we dive into the groundbreaking changes coming to college football, including the proposed Super League set for 2031. The new league could involve 70 teams, backed by private equity, and will bring a dramatic shift to the sport, making it feel more like the NFL. With no more games against smaller conferences and an expanded playoff system, this Super League could completely reshape college football as we know it.

We also discuss the elimination of the National Letter of Intent (NLI) by the NCAA Division I Council, which will be replaced with financial aid agreements. This major change ties into the upcoming revenue-sharing model, giving top recruits more leverage and affecting the entire recruitment and transfer process.

Join us as we break down what these changes mean for the future of college football, how they’ll affect recruiting, playoffs, and the overall structure of the game. Could college football be on its way to becoming an NFL-style system? Watch to find out!
