UPDATE: Florida State’s offensive line has underperformed this season (very kindly worded) after potentially being one of the better position groups in the country due to its experience.

I realize that a ton of individuals among the fan base are frustrated with offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins. While I am not here holding my pitchforks at someone losing their job, I will say that the production that is displayed on the field has to be better.

The concerning aspect of the offensive line is that many of the successes have come from transfer portal prospects, and not the recruits that he brought in (minus Robert Scott Jr. and Andre Otto-who has play sparingly this year). However, the Seminoles’ offensive line will be losing many veterans such as Darius Washington, Maurice Smith, and others after this season.

Florida State has many youngsters that they have to be excited about such as Lucas Simmons, Jaylen Early, Tye Hylton, Manasse Itete, Julian Armella, Jonathan Daniels, and Jayden Todd.

Plus, they have three talented offensive linemen committed to their 2025 recruiting cycle in five-star Solomon Thomas, four-star Peyton Joseph, and now four-star Mario Nash Jr.

We will see if those recruits stay in the fold, but nonetheless, it is exciting with the young talent on the roster.
