3 books that make me want to create ⬇️

1. film for her by orioncarloto 

FFH is one of the most aesthetically pleasing books, and is everything i've wanted in a collection of poems. (bonus points for the canvas cover & color palette — thank you mccartney._jane for the rec)

2. the creative act by rickrubin 

this book is genuinely like a bible to me when it comes to creating and living, and i don't think i need to go much more into it than that. if you know you know, and if you don't, this is your sign to finally buy it.

3. a thousand mornings by maryoliverofficial 

i've been looking for poetry that lights my soul on fire through words alone, and holy f*ck did this book do it for me. reading this outside during a phase of growth in my life was one of the most restorative experiences, and i would recommend it to everyone on this Earth.

this has been the biggest year for me when it comes to reading because of my reading challenge with mccartney._jane, and now that i'm 43/50 books in, these 3 are the stand outs.
