Day 1 on the Katy Trail
My mom does a week-long bike trip with her girlfriends every year
My sister started getting into bike riding this summer

And the vision for this trip was born!
Day 1 was full of energy and excitement! I started and finished with shorter runs (8.5 miles total) and we rode for 51 miles. 
We had lunch from a Casey’s General Store, saw some cows, sang songs, and ended the day at a winery on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River.

What will Day 2 on the trail have in store for us???
