Congratulations to the student-athletes of the week! 📚

⚽️ kaitlynmacbean continued her dominant stretch of individual performances in the 2024 campaign and found the back of the net in both pennstatewsoc matches last week, with the Nittany Lions battling for a 5-0 win at Maryland on the road before returning home to defeat Minnesota in a 3-2 affair Sunday afternoon on Jeffrey Field. MacBean stands on a three-match goal scoring streak and owns the highest goal-scoring total at Penn State since 2020, burying 13 goals and five match-winning scores, including the deciding goal against Maryland on Thursday. MacBean ranks fourth in the nation in total goals, sixth nationally in total scoring and second in Division I in match-winning goals following her performances last week.

🏈 t.warren44 has earned his third Student Athlete of the Week honors this year 🤯 On Saturday against USC, he tied an FBS record with 17 receptions and set pennstatefball and Big Ten records with 224 receiving yards. He had five catches of 20 or more yards, including a 32-yard touchdown grab in the third quarter. Warren is one of two Big Ten tight ends to ever go over 200 receiving yards in a game. With the 17 grabs, He now has 89 career receptions, ranking third among PSU tight ends, trailing only Gesicki (129: 2014-17) and (Freiermuth (92: 2018-20). To go along with his success, he also completed a 9-yard pass to Kaytron Allen in the first quarter.
