Annie Lee ‘24, is a Computer Science major here at Marist, but was initially undecided. Throughout her freshman and sophomore year, computer science and cybersecurity were on the back of her mind, and then decided to declare her major in Computer Science in the spring of her sophomore year.

“I was originally going to do a major in Cybersecurity and a minor in Computer Science, but I realized I didn’t have time for a minor and I enjoyed Computer Science, so I decided to major in it because it is still the basis for Cybersecurity and stuff.”

When asked what she enjoys about the program, Lee talked about the fact that she is applying for a 5-year-program here. She said, “I really like the fact that they have the opportunity for a 5-year program here, and I also like that there are a lot of people in computer science here!”

Lee is also looking into internships to join, but isn’t looking for any specific companies. In her own words, she’s looking for what comes her way. In the meanwhile, Lee is a member of the Asian Alliance Club here, as well as being a violin player in the Marist Orchestra, which the junior really enjoys.
