#ad Nuo Mi Fan, chinese sticky rice 🥢 mom used to make this a couple of times a year, usually around the holidays, and my eyes would always light up when I saw the bag labeled with “premium sweet rice” come out of the cupboard 🤩 A couple of times she even stuffed it inside a roast chicken for thanksgiving and that was pretty much what I thought ‘stuffing’ was for the longest time (it’s divine btw). She always reminds me that I can’t eat too much nuomifan because glutinous rice is harder for the stomach to digest and I’ll get a stomachache. Do I listen? ehhh. (ps, does anyone else’s mom tell them this about sticky rice??)

This version is made in a rice cooker, just like my mom used to do 🥰 While her version didn’t include cashews (or shallots), @mrpeanutofficial is helping me add some extra flavor and texture to this dish this holiday with PLANTERS® whole cashews.
