#TSRUpdatez: Back in 2020, former MTV VJ #AnandaLewis shared that she was battling stage III breast cancer. In a new sit-down discussion with CNN’s #SaraSidner and #StephanieElam, she shared an update on her diagnosis.

During the discussion, it was shared that Sidner, who is also battling breast cancer, had a double mastectomy after she was diagnosed earlier this year. However, Ananda shared that she chose a different form of treatment.

She said, “My plan at first was to get out excessive toxins in my body. I felt like my body is intelligent, I know that to be true. Our bodies are brilliantly made. I decided to keep my tumor and try to work it out of my body a different way.”

Elam explained that while Ananda made improvements to her lifestyle while undergoing homeopathic remedies as well as medication and radiation, she learned that her cancer metastasized to stage IV and spread to other areas.

While reflecting on her decision, Ananda added,” My quality of life was very important to me … I want to want to be here. So I had to do it a certain way, for me.” We are keeping both Ananda and Sara lifted in prayer during their healing journeys. 🙏🏾🙏🏾 (🎥: cnn)
