## Caption

COLOR CLASH: Today McCallum students competed in a grade-level color war to showcase their school spirit for homecoming week. Freshmen wore green, sophomores wore purple, juniors wore red, seniors wore blue, and teachers also dressed up in all orange today.

Sophomore Maureen Horwedel said she knows which class won the color war. 

“Honestly, I’ve seen so many freshmen dressed in green, more than any other class,” Horwedel said. “So I think the freshman won.”

Hordewel said that spirit week is a way to bring the community together and have fun at the same time.

“You get to dress up and have fun, so it’s like Halloween 2.0,” Hordewel said. “Also, during spirit week you can come to school wearing something ridiculous but you can’t be judged for it because it’s a part of spirit week.”
