Thanks to wydahofilmfest for awarding Feel It All as the Most Inspiring of their festival. I’m honored and stoked—and I imagine that if the film could speak, it would be too.

Both sides of the Tetons epitomize the dichotomy of living the dream in the mountains that coexists simultaneously alongside the stark contrast of the mental health crisis of mountain towns across the American West. When I first entered Wydaho Adventure Film Festival, they reached out and expressed how relevant and needed this conversation around mental health is in the Teton Valley and in their community. That’s exactly why I entered.

I unfortunately wasn’t able to make it to the festival itself and really wish I could have. The Tetons hold a deeply meaningful place in my heart and have played a role in multiple iterations of my transformation as a human. I did get to show the film on the Jackson side of the pass during the Quality Ski Time show and it felt like a celebration of what I missed at Wydaho—the community and passion that personify the Mountain West and our ability to shift the future of mental health as a part of it.

This 📷 by bowersjohn is the still shot from the same hit into Corbet’s that makes a super small cameo in the film. There’s one or two powder skiing shots from the Tetons that snuck in there too.
