The Cardinals announced the following changes to their coaching staff today:

We have hired Jon Jay as a Coach on our Major League staff. Jay, a former Cardinals outfielder from 2010-2015, has spent the past two seasons on the Miami Marlins coaching staff.

We have hired Brant Brown as our new Hitting Coach. Brown has coached at the Major League level for the past five seasons, working with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Miami Marlins and Seattle Mariners. Brown worked alongside Jon Jay on the Marlins coaching staff in 2023.

Willie McGee will begin a new role as Special Assistant to the President of Baseball Operations. McGee, a Cardinals Hall of Fame outfielder, first joined the front office in 2013 and has served on the Major League coaching staff since 2018.
