Taking place on Tower Lawn this Thursday, October 24th from 3-6PM in celebration of Legacy Month. 

FREE Peter’s Kettle Corn, buns from Bun Me Up, Boba from Breaktime Tea, and giveaways for current students while supplies last 🍿🧋🤤. 

Community members can enjoy the live music and performances by jazzyysnazzyy, the408collectivemusic, and queensofthecastro 🎧🎶

What is Rooted? Rooted is our outdoor Social Justice Music & Arts Festival which highlights Bay Area artists, performers, and vendors who are doing incredible work in their communities to advocate and call on us to contribute to a more socially just world. Rooted takes place in October as a part of the CCCACA’s Legacy Month events dedicated to highlighting the work of student activism at SJSU and honoring the work of SJSU alumni Tommie Smith & John Carlos.
