At Saint Augustine High School, I was the 14th man, benched until playoffs when the starting point guard was suspended. I got one scholarship offer during the late recruiting period, and then I ended up transferring to Southern University, where I played for two years. Despite leading the nation in assists, I went undrafted. I tried out for the Seattle Supersonics and earned my spot against 11 other players. Hard work pays off! #CoachAvery #NBA #Undrafted
