Two giant pandas, Bao Li and Qing Bao, have arrived at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C., reigniting the tradition of “panda diplomacy” between China and the U.S. 🐼✈️ The 3-year-old pandas traveled on a FedEx flight and were welcomed with excitement, complete with a police-escorted motorcade and panda-themed celebrations across the city.
They’ll be available for public viewing in January after a quarantine period, with the beloved panda cam set to make a comeback soon. 🎥
