What does it mean to create a sense of home when you’re far from it? 🏠 In EdraSoto’s first major public art commission in NYC, “Graft” Soto reflects on the complexities of migration and identity through architectural interventions inspired by 🇵🇷Puerto Rican design. Using “rejas”—patterned wrought iron gates from post-war Puerto Rican architecture—Soto creates a space that explores the feeling of dislocation while staying connected to one’s roots.
