1. Cut the face frame, create your guidelines for shortest and longest length first, then simply connect the two. This makes consistency on Both sides achievable 

2. Overdirect forward - overdirection all the sections towards the face causes more hair to be cut in front and less hair to be cut off from the back. The result is a seamless flow of weight and length that leaves more of each to the back. This is a great hack for creating “V-shaped” layers 

3. Finish with a shine spray, here I’m using @kenraprofessional Dry Oil Conditioning Mist to separate and create shiny texture
