It's fun to be back in London for @leadinghotelsoftheworld with my mum because it was London that she first took me to when she bought me my first passport at 12 years of age. Needless to say, that was a loong time ago. She has changed, I have changed, London has changed. All those years ago we stayed in a hotel room so small that it was the butt of family jokes for years to come. As in no matter how small something was, it was never that small. Our room at @onealdwychhotel is neither small nor a joke! It's a circular room in the building's turret that has a view in three different directions. It's the floor you can see that has all the iron railing in front of part of one of the many windows! From our room there's a gorgeous view of Waterloo Bridge and we're just a few minutes walk from one of my favorite London museums, the National Gallery. There's history for us in this visit. There's history in the building, which was once the Morning Post newspaper building. Also, it boasts more than 400 pieces of original art and my mother is an artist. I love traveling because I love telling stories and here in London....there are always stories to tell. #LHWtraveler 🇬🇧
