The second stop during our bicycle tour of Chile's Casablanca Valley, after riding through fragrant Eucalyptus-lined roads, with @upscapetravel: was family-owned @kingstonvineyards. Shown here is my salad, the first course of our lunch eaten in their gorgeous outdoor dining area that is right next to all the vines. It was the best salad I had while in Chile! But it wasn't the only delicious course of food, which was only rivaled by the conversation and the view. Kingston sits on the slope of a mountain with their fields of grape vines and the rest of the Valley stretching out before them, everywhere you look. Their female winemaker Alejandra Farfán was such a pleasure to get to know, as was all the staff and she shared with us their Chardonnay which is aged in ceramic egg-shaped casks -- so good -- it proved for only the second time in my life that my dislike of Chardonnay is silly, especially when it's not oaked. I even brought home a bottle. I also liked that their wines are named after horses and that they too have a commitment to sustainable viticultural techniques. I think we all left Kingston reluctantly. But we had one more stop to make! 🇨🇱 #OnlyInSouthAmerica
