## Caption

After losing set one, the Knights avenged themselves by beating the Ann Richards Stars in the second set 25-18. 

Senior Satya Russ started the set off by serving but her serve went out of bounds, giving the Stars the early lead. The Stars then extend their lead to two points when junior Lexi Rosenblatt misses a dig. 

Senior Great Carlson then had her first kill of the set and senior Helen Rodgers served four times in a row, tying the score at five. Sophomore Sienna Martens then puts the Knights in front with a block.

Ann Richards then calls a timeout which doesn’t dampen the Knights’ momentum because Rosenblatt gets three aces in a row putting the Knights up 10-6. 

On the next point, Ann Richards gets a kill putting them three points behind the Knights. The Stars then go on a three-point serving run tying up the game 10-10. 

Marten then comes up big again with her second block of the set putting the Knights in front once again. Junior Kafia Jackson-Woods then has a kill which gets her team and the Knights supporters pumped up. 

Fellow junior Aaniya Thornton then adds on to the Knights’s points with a dig and three aces, bringing the score to 18-12. 

After a few points, sophomore Tiara Cooks goes on a two-point serving run. Carlson then gets another kill making the score 22-17. 

Rosenblatt then steps up to serve and after rallying back and forth, Carlson’s spike was blocked out of bounds adding to the Knights’ points. 

This led to Rosenblatt serving again and after some more digs by Rosenblatt herself and Carlson, freshman Piper Adair blocked the ball putting the Knights in one point of winning the second set.

Adair comes up big in the next point as well, getting the kill that ultimately finished out the third set.
