Senior and League of Women Voters representative Martha Pruitt asked us to share some information about early voting. 

“Early voting started Monday and ends Nov. 1,” Pruitt said. “Vote early to avoid long wait times and inconvenience. Check votetravis.gov (votetexas.gov if outside of Travis County) and vote411.org for sample ballots, poll times and candidate information. All links are nonpartisan. If you are in line to vote and polls close, they MUST let you vote. Phones aren’t allowed in polls but you can bring notes into the voting booth.”
