On how she started making her Pokémon-inspired Treats:

“I started many years ago when my sister had her first baby - I wanted to make treats and it really didn’t work out, so I wanted to keep making and trying things. I just gave out treats to my coworkers over the years and kept practicing. When Pokémon GO came out it was the best thing because I love Pokémon so much - I’ve been playing [the games] since Pokémon Yellow came out. The very first Pikachu Community Day I brought the treats to that little meet up in New York City - a Facebook group that is run by some very lovely people - I brought some little Pikachu truffles, just a round truffle with a little tail. They loved it so much that every Community Day after that I wanted to make something to bring to these lovely people.”
