Today you would’ve turned 85, and knowing you the way I did, all you’d want is to be surrounded by family, sharing stories, love, and laughter. I miss you terribly—your wisdom, your warmth, and the way you made everything feel right no matter what. Life hasn’t been the same without you, and there’s a hole in my heart that will always remain.

But I find solace knowing that you’re finally at peace. You taught me so much, including how to carry on even when it’s hard, and I try every day to honor that. Though I wish I could hear your voice just one more time, I am comforted knowing that you’re resting, free from pain, and watching over us.

Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you, but today especially, I celebrate you—the beautiful, strong soul that you were and always will be in my heart.

I love you forever, Mom. Happy 85th in heaven. ❤️
