Reflecting on his own experience of transitioning to adult health care, former Holland Bloorview client Zak shares:

“If I could put one word to it, it’s just a feeling of being lost. Access to information is a really big challenge.” 

Zak is supporting the #NoPieceOfCake campaign in the hopes that by the time his daughter, Amelia, also a Holland Bloorview client, “ages out” of the pediatric health-care system, she will have all the information she needs to thrive in adulthood.
