From November 18, 2003 to October 31, 2004, Public Art Fund featured Lichtenstein’s "Element #E" in City Hall Park—a stunning 50-foot sculpture from his iconic “Five Brushstrokes” series, on display in its full-sized glory for the first time. This dynamic piece, crafted by the artist’s estate for a special loan to the City Hall Academy at the Tweed Courthouse, bursts with color and movement, inviting viewers to engage with its artistic depth. Alongside "Element #E," the exhibition showcased "Endless Drip" and "Brushstroke Group", both exemplifying Lichtenstein's innovative approach to blending form and color.
