Congratulations to the student-athletes of the week! 📚

🏐 izzystarck recorded back-to-back double-doubles and provided a spark offensively with 13 kills over two matches as No. 3 pennstatevball went to the west coast and posted wins over UCLA and No. 16 USC. In a five-set win over the Bruins, the setter finished with 45 assists, 14 digs, four blocks, and what was at the time a career-high six kills. She followed that with a new career high of seven kills while adding 43 assists, 16 digs, one block, and one ace in a four-set win over the nationally-ranked Trojans. Starck has now recorded double-doubles in four of the past five matches.

🏈 jayyreed20 boosted pennstatefball to the 28-13 win over Wisconsin as he recorded an interception and returned it 19 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. It was his first career interception return for a touchdown and the first interception return for a touchdown since Dominic DeLuca’s 26-yard return against Delaware in 2023 and PSU’s first interception return for a touchdown against a Big Ten opponent since Curtis Jacobs’ 47-yard return at Michigan in 2022. He added five tackles (4 solo) to his stat sheet this weekend.
