Our lower elementary students began our study of holidays around the world! We visited Japan and Russia this week! Did you know? Christmas in Japan is a romance holiday, and in Russia they have New Years trees! We made Temari ball ornaments from Japan and made our own Matryoshka dolls from Russia. Learning about different cultures is beneficial to the child as they explore a larger world and discover new interests! https://www.mindsprout.me/hybrid
